About Deskradar
What is Deskradar?
Deskradar is an interactive floor plan and staff directory for your offices. You upload a plan of each floor, put people, rooms, desks and equipment on it, and everyone in your organization can see who sits where and what is around them.
Is Deskradar a desk booking system?
No. Deskradar shows your office as it is, not as it is reserved. You can mark hot desks and spare desks on the plan, but there is no booking calendar and no check-in. If you need people to reserve a desk for a day, Deskradar is not the right tool.
Is Deskradar right for a company our size?
Deskradar costs the same for 20 people and for 2,000. There is no per-user charge and no limit on users, buildings, floors or markers, so the larger your organization, the better the value.
Is there a mobile app?
No. Deskradar runs in the browser, on a computer, a tablet or a phone. There is nothing to install and nothing to roll out. Any modern browser works. The interface is in English only.
Getting started
How long does it take to set up?
Filling in the form takes about a minute. You confirm your e-mail address, then we set your workspace up and write to you when it is ready. From there you create your buildings and floors, upload a floor plan image for each floor, and start placing markers. How long the whole office takes depends on how many people, rooms and resources you add.
What floor plan files can I upload?
Deskradar accepts JPG and PNG images. If your plan is a CAD drawing or a PDF from your architect, convert it to one of those first. Use a large image — about 6000 × 6000 pixels works best — and keep the file under 10 MB.
Does Deskradar work with our single sign-on?
Yes, and it is included in the price. Deskradar connects to on-premises Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, and to any provider that supports SAML 2.0.
Can we import our people and rooms?
Yes. You can import and update your buildings, floors, employees and resources from a CSV file. You can also synchronize people from Active Directory.
Trial and billing
Can I try Deskradar for free?
Yes. A fully featured Deskradar workspace is free for 30 days. No credit card required. If the 30 days are not enough, contact us and we will discuss an extension.
What happens at the end of my trial?
We ask for your billing information so you can continue to use Deskradar. You choose monthly or annual billing. If you do not subscribe, your account expires and no user can sign in to your Deskradar workspace.
My account has expired. Can I recover it?
Yes, for 30 days after it expires. Subscribe to a plan and everything comes back as you left it. After 30 days we delete the workspace and its data, and we cannot recover it.
Does the price change as we grow?
No. You pay the same whether 20 people or 2,000 use Deskradar, and whether you have one office or fifty. There is no per-user charge, no charge per building or floor, and no setup fee. The only choice you make is monthly or annual billing.
How do we pay?
You pay by card at the checkout. PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay are also available in most countries. You can add your company VAT number at the checkout, and we send a tax invoice for every payment. Payment against an invoice by bank transfer needs a commitment of three years or more — contact us to arrange it.
Can I change or cancel my subscription?
Yes, at any time. Changes take effect from the next billing period. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not refund the rest of that period.
Your data
Where is our data stored?
Your data is stored in the United States. It travels over encrypted connections, and we back it up automatically. See our Security policy to learn more.
Who in our company can see and change what?
You decide. You can limit users to read-only access, and allow editing and administration for selected people only. Everyone signs in through your identity provider, so access follows the accounts you already manage.
Can we export our data?
Yes. You can export your data as CSV files at any time.
